October! Autumn! Halloween!

Ah, this is definately my favorite time of the year. I love the weather, festivities, and just everything about October. I also feel the need to watch my favorite horror movies as a tradition during this month.

Of course October also means Halloween is coming, and everyone knows what that means for the candy companies! I found this snickers Ad on Youtube. Its definitely hilarious, creepy, and brilliant rolled into one.

I'll be going to Universal Studios Hollywood for their Halloween Horror Nights come Halloween. What are your plans for Halloween?

Medicinal leaf can help overcome opiate addiction

Kratom (also refered to as Mitragyna speciosa) is often an option in opiate withdraws due to its active alkaloid 7-Hydroxymitragynine. It creates a relief similar to codeine depending on the amount consumed. Many individuals use Kratom as an alternate to pain medicine because of this.

As a tool for opiate addiction, Kratom offers many other effects with its use. Kratom is capable of producing up to three different effects depending on the amount consumed. At low dosage, around 2-6 grams, it creates a stimulating effect. Enabling the mind to become more alert, increasing energy, and sexual energy is also increased. At mid dosage, around 7-15 grams, effects start to become more sedative-euphoric-analgesic while minimizing the stimulating effect (you become less edgy). You will start to feel and look calm, become less sensitive to physical or emotional pain, and have feeling of a comfortable pleasure. At higher dosages, around 16-25 grams, you will increase the sedative-euphoric effects. At extremely high dosage, 26-50grams you will increase sedative-euphoric-analgesic effects simultaneously.

Dosage really depends on individual body chemistry; there is no perfect universal dosage. Each individual will have to experiment until they find the right dosage for them. A word of caution more is not always better. If you overdo your intake with Kratom you will just become physically ill, and possibly vomit. So use Kratom with the best intentions, and not to abuse it.  Just think of the negative effects like Tylenol in vicodin (except it won’t damage your liver) it’s there to prevent abuse.

I hope everyone enjoyed my brief coverage on Kratom. I personally use a mid-dosage of Kratom as a tea daily, and sometimes mix chamomile with it. If anyone is interested in Kratom, I usually purchase it from or you can just look for it at your local head shop. The taste is bitter, so you can add stuff like cinnamon, honey, or lemon to make it taste more desireable.

Yoga benefits

Most of us know what yoga is, but do we know the benefits of said activity? Yoga has a handful of benefits which I will be covering. I hope you will enjoy.

Yoga has positions that can increase the flexibility in our joints that other exercises don't usually cover. It can also increase lubrication of the joints, ligaments, and tendons.

Not only that, yoga is the only exercise that can massage all organs of our body. This allows optimal blood supply for many parts of our body, which means it will provide nourishment and flush out toxins. All of this enables more energy, and can also delay aging in a sense.

Of course the main reason individuals take up yoga in the first place, it provides awesome toning! Which means muscles that have become weak or flaccid will become more stimulated, shedding excess fat and also flaccidity.

Nintendo 3DS

The upcoming Nintendo 3DS will include two 266MHz ARM11 CPUs along with a 133MHz GPU. In addition, the device is said to feature 4MB of dedicated VRAM, 64MB of RAM, and 1.5GB of flash storage.  The Nintendo 3DS will also include a microSD slot.

I'm really looking forward to the new Nintendo 3DS! The specifications sound awesome! I really want the black color. Anyone plan to get a 3DS on release next year? If so what are your thoughts on it, and what color do you want!


I've been meaning to adopt a pet for awhile. I'm just not sure what kind! Any suggestions?

makin' pizza from scratch!

Tonight I'll be making some fresh pizza! I'll list the ingredients and directions I'll be following:

 Pizza Crust -
    cooking spray
    1 teaspoon flour
    2 cups pizza dough (about 2 handfuls)
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    2 teaspoons minced garlic
    3 teaspoons onion powder
    2 teaspoons garlic powder
    1/2 cup tomato sauce
    1/2 cup cashew parmesan
    1 tablespoon chopped basil leaves
    1/2 cup corn
    1/3 cup thinly sliced green and/or red bell pepper

 Add any sauce and toppings you desire :)

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Take out a large pizza pan or cookie sheet, spray with cooking oil and sprinkle flour on top.

3. Stretch the dough and press to a thin layer on pan, shape it to be a rectangle or round pizza.

4. Drizzle olive oil over the top and spread with a marinating brush or spoon over every inch of the dough. Sprinkle with minced garlic, then with onion powder and garlic powder. Spread tomato sauce on top. Sprinkle the cashew parmesan on top so that it covers the pizza. Sprinkle basil, corn and the peppers all over the pizza.

5. Cook for 20 minutes or until edges brown.

Preparation time: 15 minutes, Cooking time: 20 minutes
